All-time favourite actors star as the lead roles in the much-awaited drama, ‘Queen of Tears’. The action-packed upcoming romantic drama is set to premiere at 9:20 pm KST (5:50 pm IST) on 16 March 2024. Directed by Kim Hee-won, who is known for ‘Vincenzo‘ and ‘Little Women’, the drama is all set to capture the hearts.
When is ‘Queen of Tears’ Releasing?
On 12 January 2024, tvN announced through social media the release of updates on the upcoming drama, ‘Queen of Tears’. The drama is set to premiere at 9:20 pm KST (5:50 pm IST) on 16 March 2024. Premiering on tvN and Netflix, the drama will be airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 pm KST.
The first look of the drama captures both the actors’ happy and embracing moments. Soo-hyun, who played the lead role in the successful drama ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ with Seo Yea-ji, and Kim Ji-won recently gained critical acclaim for the K-drama ‘My Liberation Notes‘.
What is the Plot of the drama?
In the business romance drama, Soo-hyun plays the role of Baek Hyun-woo, and Kim Ji-won portrays the character of Hong Hae-in.
The drama narrates the story of a countryside-born, legal director of the Queens Group who uses his charm and wits to become the legal director of Queens Group. He marries the heiress of this chaebol. Despite her extravagant upbringing, three years into their marriage, the couple struggles to sustain their relationship. She faces challenging hardships and is forced to use her power to shield her family.
