Synopsis

Mafia consigliere Vincenzo Cassano returns to his native South Korea with the sole intention of demolishing the Geumga Plaza structure and reclaiming his buried gold. Only the Chinese tycoon Fabio who was the real owner of the business was aware about the hidden gold. Unfortunately, he died. He encounters an unusual bunch of tenants while attempting to remove the “prize” from the building’s basement. As a result, his initial plans are altered, and he somehow ends up advocating for the rights of the tenants. He moves to Seoul and embarks on a mission to retrieve 1.5 tonnes of gold hidden in the Geumga Plaza basement.

Additionally, it causes him to develop relationships with the Geumga Plaza tenants and the lawyer, Hong Cha-young. The locals are first wary of him but soon accept him, as Vincenzo and Hong Cha-young fight for their rights. The narrative of drama begins here and is concluded in 20 episodes, which is a must watch.

‘Vincenzo’ is a mystery and crime thriller, which created a menacing impact on the audience. The director’s brilliance in mixing comedy with crime is highly appreciated. This has made he one of the best crime dramas in the K-drama industry. The chilling effect of the drama remains the same in the final episode as well. As viewers went into the 20th episode of Vincenzo, the stakes went high.

He’ got hold of the main villain Jan Han-seok after he kidnapped both Hong Cha-young and Jang Han-seo (Jang Jun-woo’s younger half brother and the illegitimate son of the chairman). At the end of the episode Jan Han-seok shot Hang Cha-young and Han-seo jumped into action. Han-seo was first introduced to the audience as a villain before it was revealed that he was actually Hong-seok’s puppet or he made it so. By the end of this drama, Han-seo had grown to be more of a brother to the Italian mafia consigliere.

He swears revenge in 24 hours with Han-seo dead and Cha-young recovering. He began working with Han Seung-hyuk, a former chief executive officer of the Woosang Law Firm who is currently the chief prosecutor at the Namdongbu Office. He reveals that if Seung-hyuk frees Choi Myung-hee, The Woosang lawyer, from jail, he will keep him alive. Viewers may recall that Han-seok was released from prison after Choi Myung-hee, the ruthless lawyer of Woosang Law Firm, accepted the blame for his accusations. Han-seok also asks Myung-hee to transfer all of his funds to her own accounts and accounts under a “borrowed identity” so they can be ready to leave the country.

After transferring all of Han-seok’s money, Myung-hee leaves for her apartment.She discovers that he was there waiting for her. Additionally, he informs her that while Myung-hee transferred Han-seok’s money, he also ordered Seo Mi-ri to donate all of those funds to a charitable organisation. She begs for mercy, when she realises that he was going to burn her to death. Cha-young had fully recovered after a month, and had joined the Geumga Plaza residents, who now refer to themselves as the Cassano Geumga Family, in their struggle against dishonest politicians.

Cha-young also assisted in the conviction of those responsible for wrongfully imprisoning his mother. Cha-young was invited to a gala honouring the friendship between South Korea and Italy. He sneaked in with the group and enjoyed a heartwarming reunion with Cha-young.

He had to depart South Korea quickly because he could only stay for one day. Cha-young is informed by him that he is now the patriarch of the Cassano family in Italy. In his concluding statement, he also declares that he will now devote his life to battling society’s “garbage”.
