Synopsis

Do Min-joon (played by Kim Soo-Hyun), an alien from a distant star system arrived on Earth during the Joseon era and has lived among humans for the past 400 years. Despite the passage of time, he still looks young and handsome and has managed to blend into human society as a professor in modern-day Korea, keeping his true identity hidden with the help of a trusted friend.

As his time on earth drew to a close, Min-joon encountered Cheon Song-yi (played by Jun Ji-hyun), a vivacious and famous actress who reminded him of the young woman he had made a connection with during his early days on earth. Song-yi was a spunky and blunt individual, seemingly self-absorbed, who faced challenges with her career and a multitude of anti-fans.

Despite living in the same apartment complex, Min-joon tried to keep his distance from Song-yi, but fate had other plans. From her late-night singing sessions that disturbed his sleep to drunkenly entering his home and falling asleep on his couch, their paths continued to cross.
