Is Lee Eun-hyuk All Set to Make a Surprise Entry in Season 3 of Sweet Home?

The third season of Netflix’s South Korean television series, ‘Sweet Home’, based on Yongchan Hwang’s webtoon that gained massive popularity with its action-horror storyline, is all set to release in the summer of 2024. Korean and international audiences highly loved the two seasons. However, the exact release date has not yet been announced.

The cast for the third season includes Song Kang, Go Min-si, Jinyoung, and a few more.  Lee Eun-hyuk is all set to make a surprise entry in season 3, where he was thought to have died in season 2 and will be answering questions about his survival.

Season 2 of the show arrived on Netflix on 1 December 2023, three years after the release of season 1.

Based on reports, season 3 of the show is expected to start where season 2 left off, with Hyun-soo struggling to control his monstrous form and viewers are excited to see it.

Plot Summary of ‘Sweet Home’

The lead role played by Song Kang in the role of Cha Hyun-soo sets out on a mission after an unexpected family tragedy and he moves into an apartment. He finds an apartment block full of survivors attempting to navigate a terrifyingly entity-infested world. He along with other residents defend themselves inside the building in the hope of surviving at their maximum.

Sources close to the crew of the show said that the director of Season 1 agreed to helm both seasons so the actors and crew shot seasons 2 and 3 consecutively and it took more than a year to complete shooting.

Song Kang

Song Kang is a South Korean actor, popularly known as the ‘Son of Netflix’ was born on 23 April 1994. He is popular for his lead roles in television series, including ‘Love Alarm‘, ‘Sweet Home’, ‘Navillera’, ‘Nevertheless‘, ‘Forecasting Love and Weather‘ and ‘My Demon’.

He made his acting debut in 2017 with a supporting role in the romantic comedy television series, ‘The Liar and His Lover’. He played his first lead role in the television series, ‘Love Alarm’, through auditions out of 900 people. In this series, he played the role of a handsome high-school student who falls in love with a girl who was his best friend’s secret crush. The female role was played by actress Kim So-hyun. Go Min-si

Go Min-si is a South Korean actress, model and director managed by Mystic Story Entertainment. She was born on 15 February 1995.

Min-si is known for her lead roles in the television series, ‘Love Alarm‘, Sweet Home’ and ‘Youth of May’. She is also popular for her film roles in, ‘The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion’ and ‘Smugglers‘.

In 2016, she made her directorial debut in the film, ‘Parallel Novel’ in which she co-starred and won the Grand Prize during the Three Minutes Film Festival. Next year, she made her television debut in the historical drama, ‘My Sassy Girl’. The Instagram ID of Go Min-si is @gominsi.


Park Jin-young, popularly known as Jinyoung is a South Korean singer, actor, and songwriter. He is a member of the boy band Got7 and the boy band duo JJ Project. He was born on 22 September 1994. Jinyoung made his acting debut in the drama ‘Dream High 2’, followed by a series of supporting roles until he landed a main role in ‘He Is Psychometric’ and made his film debut in the independent film ‘A Stray Goat’.
