Two New Lead Actors Have Been Replaced in the Upcoming Suspenseful Drama ‘The Price of Confession’
The forthcoming thriller, ‘The Price of Confession’ replaces the two lead actresses Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee.
The Song Hye-kyo from ‘The Descendants of the Sun’ and Han So-hee from ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ were set to be the lead roles in the gripping mystery drama, ‘The Price of Confession’. Unfortunately, in May 2023, both actors walked away from the project. The director of ‘Sweet Home’, Lee Eung Bok, backed out from the project, and the director of ‘Doona!’ is considering taking it on.
The new lead role that is allegedly reported for the drama is Kim Go-eun. On 17 January 2024, Kim Go-eun’s label BH Entertainment announced the reports of her casting “She’s reviewing the offer to star in ‘The Price of Confession’ in a good light.”
Apart from Kim Go-eun, Jeon Do-yeon is in discussion to star in the thriller drama. If it’s settled and wrapped up, this will be the second time the actors co-star after they appeared in ‘Memories of the Sword’ in 2015.
The highly anticipated drama is in the process of sealing the deal with new leads and a director. According to the latest updates, the production crew is all set, the new actresses have reportedly been offered the major parts, and the show is currently slated for release.
