Park Seo-joon & Han So-hee’s Gyeongseong Creature’s Part 1 & 2 have released! All updates Till Now
Before wrapping up 2023 altogether, K-drama fans have something new to add to their watch list. The historical fantasy K-drama ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ has made its release on 22 December 2023, on Netflix. The drama is directed by Chung Dong-yoon, and it is an original South Korean television series written by Kang Eun-kyung. It is co-produced by Story & Pictures Media and Kakao Entertainment.
The drama is decided to be released in two parts and the first part of the series has finally made its release. The second part of the drama will hit the screen on January 5 2024. The drama has a total of 10 episodes, and the first part of the series covers the initial 7 episodes. The second part, with the remaining 3 episodes, will be streamed from 5 January 2024. The drama is available on Netfflix at 12:00 a.m. PT (3:00 a.m. ET).

A Brief Storyline of Gyeongseong Creature
The story opens in 1945 in South Korea. At that time, Japan was invading South Korea. Instead of focusing on political matters, the drama has something more exciting to tell. Being a fantasy drama, it has monsters, magical creatures, and a group of humans who battle with these magical beings to survive.
Jang Tae-sang, the hero of the drama, is a wealthy pawn owner and an enthusiastic young man with a never-ending curiosity to investigate and learn more. He takes up the case of investigating the disappearance of a woman. While investigating, he crosses paths with Yoon Chae-ok (Han So-hee), the heroine. Like Jang Tae-sang, Yoon Chae-ok is also on a mission to find a missing woman, her mother. Chae-ok is a skilled bounty hunter and is trained to use weapons. While proceeding with their investigation, they confront various monsters and magical creatures who are born from the negative thoughts and greed of humans.

The lead roles of ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ are played by Park Seo-joon (Jang Tae-sang) and Han So-hee (Yoon Chae-ok). Also, Soo Hyun appears as Yukiko Maeda, the lady who controls the Gyeongseong area.
Furthermore, the list of supporting cast includes Jo Han-chul (who comes as Yoon Chae-ok’s father and the man who searches for his missing wife), Ji Woo, Kim Hae-sook, Wi Ha-joon, Park Ji-hwan, and Ok Ja-yeon. Completing the filming of the drama, in a press conference actress Han So-hee revealed that she faced a minor facial injury during the shoot.

Since ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ is an original Netflix series, it offers the viewers a fresh and new experience.
