Biography of Ahn Eun-jin
Early Life and Education
Eun-jin was on 6 May 1991 in Dobong-gu, Seoul, South Korea. She has a younger brother named Ahn Dae-myeong.
Eun-jin started thinking about her future from a very young age, especially after watching a school drama. Later, she fell in love with singing and acting and started dreaming of becoming an artist.
She did her schooling at Jinseon Girls’ High School and graduated from Korea National University of Arts.
Career
Ahn Eun-jin started her entertainment career in 2012 by performing in a musical. Same year, she made her acting debut in a cameo role for a movie, ‘A Muse’.
Six years after her film debut, Eun-jin debuted in the television series with the K-drama, ‘Life’ in the role of Lee Jeong-seon in 2018. Amazingly, her career began to rise even more in 2019.
She played a role in the K-drama, ‘The Crowned Clown’, starring Yeo Jin-goo, Kim Sang-kyung, and Lee Se-young. Also, she was seen in three other television series, ‘Possessed’, ‘My Fellow Citizens!’, ‘Hell Is Other People’ and ‘Diary of a Prosecutor‘.
In 2020, Eun-jin appeared in a supporting role as Kim Young-hee an ordinary office worker who despises her mother and has been in a relationship with Hyun Jae for over 10 years in the South Korean television series, ‘More Than Friends’ starring Ong Seong-wu, Shin Ye-eun, and Kim Dong-jun.
The same year, she played the role of Chu Min-ha, a chief resident in obstetrics and gynaecology in the K-drama, ‘Hospital Playlist’, starring Jo Jung-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Jung Kyung-ho, Kim Dae-myung, and Jeon Mi-do.
In 2021, Eun-jin appeared in the South Korean television series, So Jung-hwa in ‘Dark Hole’, starring Kim Ok-vin and Lee Joon-hyuk.
Next year, she appeared in a lead role as Pyo In-sook in the South Korean television series, ‘The One and Only’, co-starring Kim Kyung-nam, Kang Ye-won, and Park Soo-young on 20 December 2021.
In 2022, she was seen in the South Korean period thriller film, ‘The Night Owl’ directed by Ahn Tae-jin, starring Ryu Jun-yeol and Yoo Hae-jin. In this film, she played the lead cast role as Jo So-yong.
In 2023, Ahn Eun-jin played a lead role in the K-drama as Lee Mi-joo in ‘The Good Bad Mother’, starring alongside Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun and Yoo In-soo.
Eun-jin was a lead cast in the South Korean television series, ‘My Dearest’ with Namkoong Min, Lee Hak-joo, Lee Da-in, Kim Yun-woo, and Lee Chung-ah. Her lead role as Yoo Gil-chae, the daughter of a noble family who gets entangled with Jang-hyun in this series is the latest work of Eun-jin, as of 2023.
