Plot
Set on Jeju Island, the story revolves around two childhood friends, Jo Yong-pil (Ji Chang-wook) and Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye-sun). Jo Yong-pil decides to become a weather forecaster as he lost his mother to a mistaken weather report, and he wishes to protect the elders of his hometown.
Yong-pil’s passion for his career and refusal to let misinformation slide makes him a stubborn troublemaker. He has a childhood friend, Jo Sam-dal; they were born in the same year and grew up together in Samdalri. Even though they were close for many years, they grew apart.

Jo Sam-dal moved to Seoul to pursue her dream of becoming a successful fashion photographer. She works under the alias Jo Eun-Hye in Seoul and reached the heights of her career after working as an assistant for nearly 8 years in the fashion photography industry.
An unexpected event occurs when she loses her photography career, and her life collapses. She returns to her hometown of Samdalri, a place where she never wanted to stay. Jo Yong-pil and Jo Sam-dal meet again after many years, rekindling old emotions, and their relationship develops romantically.
Cast
The popularity of this K-drama is mainly due to its star-studded ensemble. Ji Chang-wook, who plays the role of Jo Yong-pil, the main male lead of the drama, lives on the serene island of Samdalri, determinedly entering the profession of weather forecasting.
Ji Chang-wook is not at all a new face, as he is one of the sought-after South Korean actors who have appeared in Chinese dramas. Chang-wook is known for his appearances in K-dramas, including ‘Healer’ and ‘Suspicious Partner‘. He has a popular profile on social media, with 26 million followers on Instagram (jichangwook).

Shin Hye-sun plays Jo Sam-dal, the female lead role. The actress has appeared in several prominent Korean dramas, including supporting roles in earlier Korean sensation dramas such as ‘The Legend of the Blue Sea’ and ‘Oh My Ghost’.

The upcoming South Korean television series starring Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-sun, promises a tale of healing and romance. The romantic comedy series will comprise sixteen episodes, with two episodes dropping every week over eight weeks, and each episode will have a duration of one hour and ten minutes.
The first look poster for the eagerly awaited drama was unveiled on November 14. Set against the backdrop of a serene beach (as seen in the feature image), the poster beautifully captures a relaxed moment between the two lead characters of the drama.
