Plot
Ryu Eun-jung (Kim Go-eun) is an honest and charming woman with a personality that attracts everyone. Cheon Sang-yeon (Park Ji-hyun) is Eun-jung’s best friend and her lifelong rival. Sang-yeon came from a wealthy family background, and she is a talented person. Ryu Eun-jung is jealous of her, but they become close friends and sometimes hate each other the most.
They both met during their elementary school days. Although they are in a close relationship, they navigate feelings of both love and jealousy towards each other.
Kim Sang-hak (Kim Gun-woo) is a good-looking college student. He plays an important role in these two women’s lives as well as in their friendship. Kim Sang-hak is a passionate photographer, and when he intertwined with Eun-jung and Sang-yeon’s relationship, rivalry and friendship arose. Sang-hak genuinely cares for Eun-jung.
The story traces their friendship from their school days to their twenties and thirties, showing how their bond evolves with time. Later, they both met in their forties, struggling with difficult challenges. Cheon Sang-yeon is now a successful movie producer, and Ryu Eun-jung works as a drama series writer. Sang-yeon is battling cancer when she meets Eun-jung long after.
