Netflix updated about the coming of the second season of ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ through its new poster.
The first season of the drama quickly became the talk of the town with its engaging plot and flawless presentation.
The story revolves around the lives of people during 1945, the time when Seoul was known by the name Gyeongseong. At that time, South Korea was under the control of Japan. The harsh life of the Korean people under the imperial Japanese army was presented with a touch of horror, fantasy, and mystery.
The first season of the show was co-directed by Chung Dong-yoon and Roh Young-sub and written by Kang Eun-kyung. Also, the lead roles were played by Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee.

In the second season, Han So-hee will reappear as Yoon Chae-ok. However, Park Seo-joon will appear as Ho-jae, who looks like Tae-sang from season 1.

When Han So-hee plays the role of Yoon Chae-ok, the girl who escaped from the events that happened in the 1940s, Park Seo-joon will appear as a new character, a modern man from the current Korea. His character is named Ho-jae, who looks similar to Master Tae-sang, the pawnshop owner from the city of Gyeongseong.
Storyline of Gyeongseong Creature Season 1
During the spring of 1945, people started to go missing from Gyeongseong. Jang Tae-sang, the wealthy pawnshop owner in the city, is also a man who is interested in digging out information. In one of his journeys to acquire information, he encounters Yoon Chae-ok, a brave young woman who is after the truth behind the missing of her mother.
As their investigation progresses, they discover the danger that has stricken their society and unravel the truth behind the appearance of evil creatures in the city.
Gyeongseong Creature season 2 is a blend of the past and the present. As the story delves deep into the plot, we can expect an intense journey into the social, cultural, and political environment of South Korea.
The viewers can expect nothing less than a blockbuster show since the first season has already elevated the standards of the show. The first season of the show was a success in countries like India, Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand, including South Korea. In addition, the drama was released in 20 countries. In South Korea, the show ranked No. 1 on the third day of its release. Also, it became one of the Top 10 Netflix shows after its release.
After the filming of ‘Gyeongseong Creature Season 2’, both Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee shared their experiences while acting in the drama.
