18th Life of Ban Ji-eum
In her 18th life, she was born as a girl named Yoon Joo-won (Kim Si-a). She has a friend named Moon Seo-ha (Ahn Bo-hyun), who is the heir to a rich family and the executive director of MI Hotel’s strategic planning team. Both Joo-won’s and Seo-ha’s mothers were also friends.
One day, Joo-won and Seo-ha meet in an accident, in which Ju-won dies and Seo-ha ends up losing hearing in one of his ears.

When Joo-won was reborn as Ji-eum, she was born into a neglectful and abusive household. Ji-eum’s mother left her, and she lives with an alcoholic father, Ban Hak-su (Baek Seung-cheol). Ji-eum ran away from home when she was 8–9 years old to meet Kim Ae-kyung (Cha Chung-hwa), a woman who had been Ji-eum’s niece in her 17th life. When Ji-eum grows up, she becomes an engineer and joins MI Hotel’s strategic planning team. Seo-ha’s mother, Lee Sang-ah (Lee Bo-young), is the former CEO of MI Hotel, and Seo-ha returns to Korea and joins the team. Everyone in the hotel is impressed with Ji-eum’s exceptional skills. She soon opens up about her feelings towards Seo-ha.

Who Caused the Accident of Seo-ha and Joo-won?

Everyone suspected that Jeong-hun had an affair with Jang Yeon-ok (Bae Hae-sun). Yeon-ok comes to their home as a tutor, and she eventually takes Lee Sang-ah’s place at the hotel after her death.

Moon Jeong-hun never loved his wife, and he consider his son, who had lost his hearing in the accident, an embarrassment. Seo-ha collects evidence against Jang Yeon-ok, and surprisingly, his father, Moon Jeong-hun, stands by his side. Meanwhile, Lee Sang-hyeok’s deeds come to light, and he goes to prison. Later, it is revealed that Seo-ha was not the target; the target was the chairman.
Seo-ha’s secretary and best friend Ha Do-yoon (Ahn Dong-goo) was aware of the accident, as his father was the driver at the time who passed away in that accident. Ji-eum detaches herself from his father upon knowing that he was the driver who caused the accident.
