Early Life and EducationÂ
She was born on 10 August 1998. She was born and raised in Dongducheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea. She has an older sister. She completed her schooling at Dongbo Elementary School, Dongducheon Girls’ Middle School, and the School of Performing Arts Seoul. She graduated in 2017.
Career
In 2014, Yeeun appeared in the music videos for ‘G.NA’s Secret’ by G.NA and ‘Beep Beep’ by BtoB. She participated and was a backing dancer for ‘G.NA’s Secret’ promotional activities with Cube Entertainment trainees.
On 10 March 2015, she was revealed as the main rapper of the girl group CLC. The group debuted on 19 March 2015 with their debut single ‘Pepe’ from their debut EP, First ‘Love’. Along with Na Inwoo, Yeeun hosted BtoB’s comeback showcase for Complete.
She made her runway debut on 20 March 2018 for Greedilous at the 2018 F/W Hera Seoul Fashion Week, held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Alongside NCT Dream’s Jeno and Jin Longguo, she started co-hosting ‘The Show’ from the 149th episode on 22 May 2018 but withdrew from the show on 26 November 2019.
She was featured with Oh Seung-hee for the original soundtrack for the drama ‘My Fellow Citizens!’ for the song ‘Really Bad Guy’ on 22 April 2019.
In 2020, she was part of the cast of Mnet’s music competition show, ‘Good Girl’. She participated in three songs during the show and performed Witch with Hyo-yeon, Cheetah, Jamie, and Jiwoo of Kard on the 6th episode.
In the final episode, she performed two solo songs, ‘Barbie’ and ‘Mermaid’. The promotion of ‘Barbie’ was done on the 672nd episode of M Countdown. In the run-up to CLC’s September 2020 release, ‘Helicopter’, she released a special music video ‘Mermaid’ on the CLC YouTube channel.
In 2021, she made her acting debut with Oh Seung-hee and Jang Seung-yeon in the short film anthology series ‘Tastes of Horror’. The short film was at the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2022.
On 18 March 2022, the agency officially announced that Yeeun would be leaving the company, as she had decided not to renew her contract with Cube Entertainment.
She decided to pursue her career as a solo artist and signed an exclusive contract as a solo artist. She was the featured artist on the single ‘Nirvana Girl’ by Sorn and on oceanfromtheblue’s single ‘Come Back Home’.
In 2023, she made her solo debut on 13 April with the single album ‘The Beginning,’ featuring the title track ‘Cherry Coke.’ Before her debut, she had released the digital single ‘Strange Way To Love’
She participated in Mnet’s reality competition show, ‘Queendom Puzzle,’ and made an appearance in the Pick-Cat team’s special performance video. In the final episode of ‘Queendom Puzzle,’ she was ranked 7th with a total of 350,517 points and debuted with the winning group, El7z Up.

Neither CLC Yeeun nor Yuto responded to the dating rumours. Later, Cube Entertainment released an official statement denying the rumours.
