In-depth chemistry is developing between Min-hyuk and Bong-soon. They become closer as a result of the humorous and perilous scenarios their friendship brings about at work and throughout their search for the kidnapper. A young woman born with superhuman strength who tries not to use her powers but does not hesitate to use them for good when needed. She has had a crush on Guk-doo for a long time but eventually falls for Min-hyuk. One disadvantage of having supernatural powers is that she will lose them if she harms an innocent person.

Strong Girl Bong-soon Ending Explained

After successfully caging the kidnapper Jang-hyun, Min-hyuk drives Bong-soon home. He starts thinking back to their first encounter at the police station, now that he can unwind knowing the criminal has been found. At the station, Gook-doo is speaking with the Jang-hyun who kidnapped many people, in a far less endearing way. Until Gook-doo inquires as to why he abducted those women, the two are glaring across the table at one another. Jang-hyun smiles as he recalls how every woman begged him to save them, looking absolutely miserable.

The following day, Min-hyuk and Bong-soon go back to work as usual, and Bong-soon shows Secretary Gong the villain from her game (who is actually the secretary’s animated twin). Secretary Gong observes that the figure appears somewhat familar despite his inability to put it all together.

Min-hyuk invites Bong-soon for a meeting. Min-hyuk and Secretary Gong conducted a practise interview with her to get her ready for her game presentation. She delivers thoughtful responses to the questions, and Secretary Gong even gives her a thumbs up. When Secretary Gong asks what the focus of the game is, Min-hyuk listens intently as Bong-soon tells us that Super Bong-soon saves Prince Min-min and they have a happy ending.

Secretary Gong clarifies that he wants to know if the two characters would wed and have kids, and Min-hyuk, who is obviously identifying with his namesake character, giggles. Bong-soon speculates that perhaps it will transpire in the game’s sequel, and Min-hyuk once more disintegrates into a heap of squeals before advising them to launch the game right away in order to access the sequel.

Min-hyuk and Bong-soon discuss the fact that her father hasn’t returned home in a few days after fleeing from her mother. Although he’s not precisely sure how he’ll bring her wandering father home, still, Min-hyuk pledges to take care of it. The cunning CEO finds father’s camping area, and the two of them pop a soju bottle. While Min-hyuk attempts to persuade father to return home, he flat-out refuses.

Min-hyuk sincerely asks for permission to marry his daughter as he choked on his soju. Dad describes him as crazy, and Min-hyuk concurred that without Bong-soon, he was going crazy. He asks Min-hyuk if he can promise to treat his daughter well. He queries what Min-hyuk finds so endearing about Bong-soon.

After a moment of silence, he says, Bong-soon is me. He believes that, if she exists, then so does he and if she doesn’t, neither will he. Min-hyuk expresses his gratitude to her dad for raising Bong-soon with such love and care, but he vows to now take on that duty and fulfil all her wishes.

In a meeting with Bong-ki, Hee-ji shares her plans to travel to Vienna to join an orchestra. Bong-ki is aware of her plans, but he doesn’t appear to be upset about it. She asks him how he came to believe that everyone has someone they are destined to be with and that they will eventually meet that person. He says that it was his sister. Hee-ji’s face droops a little and she queries whether this implies that they aren’t destined to be together. Bong-ki stays silent, but they both seem to understand that their relationship isn’t meant to be.

That evening, when Bong-soon arrives at the Do house, she discovers a slightly inebriated Min-hyuk bringing her completely wasted father inside. Her mother wonders where her husband has been. Bong-soon takes Min-hyuk up to her room. He asks if it’s the spot where she first referred to him as Min-min before heading there and settling down on the bed. Inquiring as to whether he had done a good job, Min-hyuk tells Bong-soon that he brought her father home as promised. Gook-doo’s police squad has resumed normal operations now that their suspect has been apprehended.

The notorious Jang-hyun has been given a life sentence without the possibility of release. When he is placed in a small cell on his own, he immediately loses what little sanity he still possesses, rolling around on the floor while yelling like an insane criminal. Min-hyuk has to take the credit for catching Jang-hyun in place of Bong-soon, which is how he ends up collecting a Citizen Hero award in front of the police station.

As Gook-doo’s beaming station chief wraps his arm around him and poses for a photograph while gushing about how the police department and regular folks work together, he exudes an uneasy and perplexed appearance. Min-hyuk retreats and walks over to Bong-soon to complain about how humiliating the situation is.

Basketball brings Gook-doo and Bong-ki together, and during their physical heart-to-heart, Bong-ki apologises to Hee-ji for everything.

Gook-doo admits that he didn’t know and bemoans the fact that he liked Bong-soon but didn’t realise it until it was too late. When Dong-pyung enters and casually declares that he will permit Bong-soon to join the Product and Development team and develop her game under his supervision, Bong-soon, Min-hyuk, and Secretary Gong are all on pins and needles.

We discover Kwang-bok (the gangster who provokes usually Bong-soon) screaming and cursing at a dentist’s office as a final farewell to him on the show. He is upset about having to wait. When Min-hyuk returns, he discovers Bong-soon has left his playpen and moved where the Planning and Development team is located. The message she left behind, which cutely refers to him as Team Leader and thanking him for everything he has done for her, makes him sigh with sadness as he looks at the vacant desk. Gook-doo calls Min-hyuk out and immediately grabs him by the collar and threatens to treat Bong-soon with love.

Gook-doo claims that Bong-soon is his friend and that even if he doesn’t like Min-hyuk, he will give him the opportunity to win her over. Gook-doo appears to be affected by the words and turns away. The two boys remain mute until Gook-doo, who is not looking at Min-hyuk, begins to list the things Bong-soon enjoys, such as spicy food and mountains, as well as the fact that she is allergic to peaches.

As she commutes to work, Bong-soon keeps narrating that she is unable to live the same way as Bong-soon in her game. She discovers a wounded cyclist trapped beneath a car and convinces onlookers to assist her in raising the vehicle while concealing the fact that she can lift it up alone. Bong-soon tries to reach work, but Dong-pyung yells at her and declares that his strictest rule is on-time attendance.

Secretary Gong, who has been entirely ignored, says that he will now be departing. Bong-soon and Min-hyuk are so engrossed in their sweet moment that they fail to notice his departure. Secretary Gong simply nods at the CEO, who was formerly stern but is now jumping up and down with joy.

That evening, Bong-soon and Min-hyuk leave together while maintaining a professional demeanour as they properly part ways in the foyer. After taking about five steps apart before turning around and running back toward one another, they part ways. Bong-soon’s father encourages her to keep writing her narrative in her strength journal and to use caution when using her abilities. He tells her he likes Min-hyuk and pulls her in for a hug.

He admits that it’s time to let her fly free while wondering where the time went when his girl had grown up. The following day, Min-hyuk proposes a date to Bong-soon. The couple’s wedding day arrives, and Min-hyuk unexpectedly bursts into the preparation area and stands in awe of Bong-soon’s stunning attire.

When the Do family arrives, Bong-soon’s dad begins to cry joyful tears upon seeing his daughter in her bridal gown. Both of them appear to be struggling to contain their tears of delight as they stand at the altar. Then, as husband and wife, they go down the aisle while grinning broadly at one another. Time passes.

As Bong-soon is giving birth, the camera cuts to Min-hyuk sprinting down the hospital hallway to meet the Do family. We cut to Min-hyuk standing at his office following the baby’s wailing, appearing dumbfounded as Secretary Gong inquires as to what exactly is so horrible about having twin girls. Mommy Bong-soon is busy lifting a massive water bin off a pinned construction worker while Daddy Min-hyuk reels from his daughters. Calling his wife while sporting his own shiner, Min-hyuk is reminded not to do so by his wife.

In her pink sweatshirt, Bong-soon crosses a rooftop and scans the city. Bong-soon’s eyes widen as she sees on the news screen in the building across from her that a terrorist has kidnapped innocent people. She lowers her hood and makes a powerful leap off the structure, falling many storeys to the ground like the superhuman she is. She proclaims as she raises her head, “I will go.  I am a Powerful Woman, do it now! Fighting!”
