Overview of Seoul Vibe

Samgyedong Supreme Team, a group of young drivers and riders, get involved in the vicious plan of Director Lee Hyun-kyun and Chairwoman Kang In-sook’s illegal money possession. When two members of the Samgyedong Supreme Team, Park Dong-wook and Joon-ki return to their homeland from Saudi Arabia to South Korea and are in a transition phase to adapt to a new lifestyle. Samgyedong Supreme Team needs money to upgrade their lives and shift to Los Angeles. However, their participation in money laundering with powerful people is not easy, and it involves kills and fights.

Synopsis
Back in 1988, Ahn Pyung-wook, a prosecutor, hires a ragtag group to work for him. The ragtag group, Samgyedong Supreme Team, consists of talented drivers and mechanics. Ahn Pyung-wook plans to get closer to General Lee Hyun-kyun and Chairwoman Kang In-sook to access the details of the previous government’s confidential fund details. Therefore, he needs the Samgyedong Supreme Team to work as drivers for Lee Hyun-kyun and Kang In-sook in money laundering. As a reward for their service, Ahn Pyung-wook offers them a new life without any problems.
The Samgyedong Supreme Team includes Park Dong-wook, Oh Woo-sam, Bok-nam, Park Yoon-hee, and Joon-ki. Working with Ahn Pyung-wook is not an easy job for the team since Park Dong-wook soon finds it difficult to work with Lee Hyun-kyun. Dong-wook’s reluctance to continue the contract creates cracks within the team since Woo-sam is excited to move on with the adventurous tasks. He has already begun his work to extract details by making a duplicate of the key to unlock the locker room where the confidential information is kept.
However, the Samgyedong Supreme Team’s plans get smashed down when Lee Hyun-kyun learns about the team’s hidden intention. One day Lee Hyun-kyun catches Woo-sam, but Dong-wook manages to escape. Lee Hyun-kyun traps the Samgyedong Supreme Team by putting the blame for Ahn Pyung-wook’s death upon them.
Due to the tension created, Dong-wook drives to a deserted place and turns on a mixtape. In the silence, he decodes the matters discussed in the mixtape and finds out it is the discussion between Kang In-sook and three officers about the illegal money in their possession. To access the full amount of money, Kang In-sook conspires with the corrupted officers to escape to the US by putting the responsibility of the money on Lee Hyun-kyun.
The new discovery of Dong-Wook gives him an opportunity to negotiate with Lee Hyun-kyun. Dong-Wook offers to submit Kang In-sook in front of Lee Hyun-kyun. Dong-Wook enrols a new member, Galchi, to proceed with his new plan. Galchi is Dong-Wook’s opponent in car races. They plan to bring Lee Hyun-kyun and Kang In-sook together in one place.
Dong-Wook, Joon-ki, and Bok-nam bring Lee Hyun-kyun as planned, but their plans go in vain when he dies in an accident. Meanwhile, Yoon-hee saves Woo-sam from Lee Hyun-kyun’s possession.
Later, Dong-Wook boards the plane on which Kang In-sook tries to escape. Dong-Wook sits in the car inside the plane. A fight starts between Dong-Wook and Kang In-sook. She pulls her gun out and points to Dong-Woo. In order to escape from the plane and from Kang In-sook, Dong-Wook starts the car and drives out.
The car drifts out of the plane into the open sky with the cargo of money. Dong-Wook manages to open the parachute and lands safely. Afterwards, Kang In-sook is arrested by the police for holding illegal money. On the other hand, Samgyedong Supreme Team members steal some of the money to upgrade their lives before they depart for Los Angeles.

‘Seoul Vibe’ showcases two groups of people, a group which corrupts the government for selfish motives and another group which fights against corruption. The movie is set in 1988 when the country tries to adapt to the new changes for a better life. The powerful team of Chairwoman Kang In-sook and Director Lee Hyun-kyun loses to the Samgyedong Supreme Team due to betraying each other.
While Samgyedong Supreme Team ensures the safety of each other and shares a strong friendship. They did not hesitate to ask for the help of their rival team. They share the money acquired from Chairwoman Kang In-sook and Director Lee Hyun-kyun to upgrade each of their lives.
