Park Shin-hye is a South Korean actress, model, and singer. She underwent formal training in singing, dancing, and acting under the supervision of Lee Sung Hwan at Dream Factory. She gained her reputation as a child actor through TV shows like ‘Stairway to Heaven’, which was released in 2003, and ‘Tree of Heaven’, which was released in 2006.

Early Life And Education

Park Shin-hye was born on 18 February 1990, in Gwangju, South Korea. She was raised in the Songpa district of Seoul. Her brother plays the guitar and writes music. The romantic comedy ‘You’re Beautiful’ features two songs from Park Shin: ‘Lovely Day’ and ‘Without Words’.

Park Shin-hye was introduced as a child actor and gained notable attention for the popular Korean drama ‘Stairway to Heaven’. It was released in 2023. She was featured as the main character in ‘Very Merry Christmas’ in 2004. Her first adult leading role was in the melodrama ‘Tree of Heaven’.

Shin-hye made her film debut in the movie, ‘Evil Twin’, released in 2007. She played a double role in the movie. Her credits also extend to ‘Prince Hours’ and ‘Kimcheed Radish Cubes’. Along with her work as an actor, she was also the host of the variety show ‘Fantastic Partner’.

She celebrated her 10th anniversary by organizing the 2013 ‘Park Shin Hye Asia Tour: Kiss Of Angel’, becoming the first actress to hold a tour across Asia. She and Lee Min-ho acted in the film ‘The Heirs’, which received a peak rating of 28.6 per cent and one billion views worldwide.

Shin-hye became one of the most in-demand endorsers after the success of the drama ‘Pinocchio’. With her as their spokesperson, sales for the brands Mammonde and Bruno Magil reached a record high. Due to her international fame, she is an ambassador for brands like Bench from the Philippines and Millet, a French clothing company, and Bruno Magli, an Italian luxury brand.
