Synopsis
Cha Jin-wook, played by actor Sung Hoon lived the life of luxury as the son of a wealthy household. He spent his days attending parties and dating women. However, his father was tired of his way of living and decided to take action. He sent Jin-wool to be trained in their family-owned resort in hopes of straightening out his free-spirited life.
Lee Yu-mi played by actress Song Ji-eun was forced to attend her mother’s wedding outside the city. Her relationship with her mother was strained due to her mother’s past as an erotic film actress, causing her to have a difficult upbringing. As fate would have it, the two characters met on a bus and ended up staying at the same resort.
Jin-wook accidentally bumped into Yu-mi with a cake tray, while he was working as a waiter, a punishment from his father. Later, as an apology, he personally delivered a bottle of wine to her room.
However, upon realising he had forgotten his key, he was forced to enter the room and discovered the young woman, Yu-mi, who was slipping into the bathtub. He quickly rushed her to the hospital.
Later, the two continued to cross paths and found solace in each other’s company during a seaside meeting, bonding over a bottle of wine and discussing their respective troubled lives. The stars, sea, and wine seemed to bring them together, and they shared a magical kiss under the moonlight. However, the next morning, Yu-mi disappeared, leaving Jin-wook in the car alone.
Three years later, their paths crossed once again when Yu-mi was assigned to work at Jin-wook’s company. In an attempt to seek revenge for the embarrassment he faced as she left him alone in the car that day, Jin-wook made her prepare his meals. The two continued to play a game of mixed signals, neither of them admitting their true feelings.
