Synopsis
Han So-yeon (Ko Sung-hee) is a lonely woman who works at an optical company in Seoul. She shrinks herself from having any relationships and interactions with people around her due to her medical condition called face blindness or prosopagnosia.
One day, she accidentally comes into possession of a strange pair of glasses. Trying them on, she has a huge shock when a man appears, whom only she can discern — Holo, the world’s most leading AI, who is unconditionally kind and amiable, has unbounded intelligence and is capable of heading off any danger.
Han So-yeon finds AI holographic companionship and solace in Holo. Her life soon experiences a fresh incitation in both personal and professional aspects. However, she was also occupied as a beta tester with Gio Lab, the company behind the AI robot Holo, and its mysterious founder, Go Nan-do.
The man behind the astounding piece of technology, Go Nan-do is a reclusive and less friendly person unlike Holo. He had lived like a loner eluding from his childhood trauma, tragic history with his mother, long-lost childhood friends, and amnesia. Holo is the outcome of Nan-do’s endeavor for decades.
Go Nan-do moves next door to Han So-yeon, observes the romantic entanglements between So-yeon and Holo. Later, Nan-do realises that Nan-do and So-yeon share the same isolation that’s caused by their traumatic pasts and finds himself falling for So-yeon. This starts an atypical love triangle between two humans and an AI robot, Holo, who are all just trying to accept their imperfections and flaws to get by in this interdependent world.
