Synopsis

Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-a) was a highly skilled dentist in her 30s who had built a loyal patient base. She was working in a dental clinic in Seoul until she had a feud with a senior dentist who was taking advantage of their patients. Hye-jin refused to stay silent and confronted the senior dentist about her unethical behaviour, which led to her resigning from her job.

To make matters worse, she accidentally posted about the senior dentist. As revenge, the senior dentist used her influence to ensure that Hye-jin would not be able to find work anywhere else in Seoul. This left Hye-jin feeling exhausted and disillusioned with her career. Seeking refuge from her troubles, she decided to visit Gongjin, a small village that held a special place in her heart. It was the last place she had visited with her mother before she passed away when Hye-jin was still a child.

In Gongjin, Hye-jin meets Hong Du-sik (Kim Seon-ho), a jack-of-all-trades who is highly respected in the village for his kind nature and willingness to help others.
